Something I Discovered

It's been almost a year since my very first post on my 5AM blog.  I have enjoyed having a place to force me to acknowledge my daily blessings.  The accountability I have over there is something I sort of expected, but could have never fully grasped without diving into it.  What I didn't expect, however, is the opportunity that my 5AM blogging would give me to encourage others.  Over the summer I was approached by Jocelyn Green of Faith Deployed to submit monthly articles for that website.  Wow!  Talk about a surprise.  I dove in and discovered that

1.  It's not that easy to write.

2.  I think there is a place for a voice such as mine.

3.  Because of #2, I needed to get better at #1.

I've been thinking a lot about #3 and I believe it is time to take another plunge.  Hence Page Two is born.  I'll definitely be over at 5AM more, but I hope you'll join me here for a few more war stories and a little closer look at the grace and joy that can only be found in the trenches.
